Rougeshroom is a crossover of tower defense and dungeon crawler (or Procedural Death Labyrinth). The player controls a mushroom that grows its way through the earth. In each Level he has to explore a dungeon and defend himself against all kinds of monsters and animals that wander the dungeon or live in it. The dungeon is explored by growing roots through its tunnels and caves. To defend the mushroom against the threads of the dungeon the player can grow different kinds of mushrooms out of the roots. These mushrooms have different abilities and work like towers in a tower defense game.
